About Julissa

As a passionate educator I find great joy in nurturing & supporting the growth of young minds. Currently, im in graduate school, but have always been a teacher through tutoring, assisting dance classes, & working as a swim instructor. These experiences have allowed me to be an instructor & safe space. I've gained the ability to promote inquiry while providing patience for the student to understand. This also allows me to provide a well-rounded & stimulating environment for children. My calm & friendly demeanor creates a positive & safe atmosphere for children to thrive. I believe in open communication with parents & regularly provide updates on their children. I am highly comfortable enforcing household rules, & aid in maintaining a structured environment for the children in my care. I am delighted to engage children in a variety of games & activities. I enjoy outside time, board games, & helping with the family pup. I like to create a balance between fun & educational experiences.
