I began working with kids when I was 15, babysitting for families in my town. I then worked in a preschool the summer before college, working with children ages 2-10 in classrooms of 10-15 kids. The following summer I ran a day camp with my older sister, providing food, transportation, and directing creative activities for up to 10 kids ages 1-10 Monday-Friday. I also worked with a non-profit in Geneva, NY where I directed and supervised a gardening program for high school students. I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids and seeing the world through their eyes as they learn and grow. I have gained patience, humility, and thoughtfulness through this work, and I am eager to continue it. One thing to know: I am in the process of leaving my current full-time job and will be available at the end of September to caretake full-time. This decision is to prepare for applying and returning to graduate school next fall, during which I plan to maintain part-time caretaking roles.

Juniper lived with us for 1 summer as a nanny taking care of our daughters (6 & 8). She is amazing and I can't recommend her enough. She is caring, responsible, creative, positive, hard-working, and fun. My girls absolutely LOVED spending their summer with her. She would figure out new things for them to do every single day so they were never bored, she prepared and fed them healthy meals, and was an absolute joy to have around. I could go on and on about Juniper and all of her positive traits but will sum it up by simply saying that if you are lucky enough to have Juniper take care of your kids and become a part of your family...you hit the jackpot!
