About Kai

Hello! I am a college junior majoring in Theatre Education at University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I love kids and have been working in childcare for about 5 years! (Though I was only paid for 3). I've worked at Children's Theatre of Charlotte as a camp counselor. In this position, I was in charge of bathroom breaks, lunch, snack, handling behavioral issues/emotional regulation for ages 3-11, and so much more! I loved getting to know the kids and being able to connect with them in between activities. I also worked at my church's daycare with ages 2-5 and handled things more along the lines of diaper changes, potty training, nap time, and preschool behavior management. I love to play, read, talk, sing, sew, craft, bake, and go for walks! I am also a Christian and can provide faith-based environment if requested. I do my best to lead when patience, grace, and kindness in my life and work!
