About Kaila

Hello! I'm Kaila, nanny with 2 years of experience caring for children aged 2-15. In 2020, I was a teacher assistant at a daycare for kids 1-5, where I changed diapers, ensured safety, and provided nutrition. Currently, I work with four families: 1. For a 7 and 11-year-old, I handle drop-offs, meal prep, household chores, and administer ADHD medication. 2. I provide overnight care for a 10-year-old with autism, assisting him in getting ready for school and walking their dog. 3. I also care for two toddlers (2 and 3 years old), managing their nighttime routines and playtime. My experience with special needs children comes from my sister's autism, which has taught me patience and empathy. I participate in the Autism Society of the San Francisco Bay Area to help foster community for children with special needs. I'm a college nursing major, volunteer at Highland Hospital in Oakland, and an animal lover with 3 cats and a dog. I embrace new adventures and come from a diverse background.
