About Kailyn

Hi! My name is Kailyn! I am a new high-school graduate working on getting my degree to become a pediatric occupational therapist. I have experience with children of all ages and have even taught ballet to children from 3-5. I'd describe my personality as considerate, outgoing, and lively! I like working with kids because it is always something new and you are able to see the world differently through a child's eyes. I'm looking for a job that is consistent and has a level of respect that goes both ways between me and the parent. I would prefer a job that I am able to take the child out to educational or everyday activities. I started working with kids when I was 13. However, my brother is seven years younger than me, so I've always had experience with young children. My skills include calming a child down who is upset, finding activities that are beneficial for different ages, and establishing a line of respect as well as friendship between me and the child.
