About Kaitlen

I like working with kids because their unique perspective of the world encourages me to look at the little tasks of the world with wonder. I'm looking for a job that will provide me consistent hours and work around my college classes during the school year. I started working with kids when I was 9 through my church ministry where I served with the nursery and the toddlers. In 2023 I began taking college classes to earn my CDA (Child Development Associate Certification) while in high school. I interned at two different preschools until 2025 when I passed my certification. In addition I also was a nanny to 1 boy who began age 1 and was 3 when I moved to college. After starting college in August of 2025 I was hired at the Early Childhood Center on campus as an Assistant Teacher in the Young Toddler Room. My skills include redirecting tough behaviors, flexibility when interests/available time changes, managing multiple children including separate dietary needs.
