About Kaitlin

I am currently a senior at UNT. I work part time during the school year as an after school care teacher for LISD. I have worked with kids for as long as I can remember and this will be my 8th year with LISD. I'd describe my personality as creative, caring, and outgoing. I like working with kids because they are our future and I want to invest in them so that we can make the world a better place. Kids are amazing and I am blown away by their skills and knowledge every day. I started working with kids when I had just gotten out of high school. I wanted to be a teacher (still do, just for higher education) and I thought the best way to start would be to work for the district I had just graduated from. In my spare time, I like to read, create art in any medium, play video games, go on walks/hikes, volunteer, care for my pets, and hang out with my friend and family. My skills include communication, patience, and empathy.
