About Kaitlyn

Hi! I'm Kaitlyn ECMH-E - a mom, early childhood educator, and licensed home childcare provider in Burton. I've spent more than 10 years working with children and families, and caring for kids is truly where my heart is. I am endorsed by the michigan association for mental health. I have an AAS in Early Childhood Education with honors, an AA with honors, and a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies, along with 250+ hours of professional development training through MI Registry. I am inspired by Reggio Emilia - expext lots of curiosity, creativity, messy art, sensory play, and hands-on learning. I believe children learn best when they're allowed to wonder, move, create, ask questions, and be active participants in their own learning. I'm especially passionate about creating an inclusive environment for neurodivergent children and children with additional needs. I believe support should be individualized, patient, respectful, and focused on helping each child feel successful.
