Hi, I'm Kaitlyn! **Due to an increased amount of interest I wanted to post that I am not seeking full time employment. However if given enough notice I would be interested in occasional childcare needs in the evening or on weekends. Thanks! I've provided childcare serviced since I was 14 after taking a certification course through American Red Cross. While at JMU, I began the K-12 Licensure program and spent over 180 hours in both elementary and middle school classrooms. Over the years I've had a lot of experience with children due to my siblings, babysitting for family friends, as well as children's recreational activities (sports, arts/crafts, church). I have spent summers nannying for various families, taught art and crafts workshops, and have been a vacation nanny. I love providing an engaging, energetic, and creative environment for children to have fun and learn! In addition to this I do not smoke, have transportation, and am CPR certified.

Kaitlyn was our nanny from September 2020 to May 2020. She did a wonderful job taking care of our 6 year old daughter and 3 year old son. She is very creative. I still cannot believe how much my 3 year old son learned with her over this short period of time. She also helped our daughter with virtual learning home school. Kaitlyn is also flexible as she would also work around our schedules to either come in early, stay late, or even work a night or weekend for date nights and day dates. She is also good with pets and would pet sit for us with our 14 year old Springer spaniel who requires extra attention.
