About Kala

Making a positive impact on people's lives is what drives me as a caregiver. For the past 15 years, I have supported adults, seniors, and individuals with disabilities, helping them maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life. My experience includes companionship, respite care, medication reminders, meal preparation, transportation, errands, and light housekeeping. I have worked with individuals living with depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, memory impairments, and other mental health and medical conditions. As a Crisis Counselor, I assist individuals experiencing emotional distress, suicidal thoughts, and other mental health crises, using de-escalation and active listening skills. I am compassionate, patient, dependable, and committed to providing safe, person-centered care tailored to each individual's needs.
