About Kaltuma

Hi! I'm Kaltuma, but I go by Tuma. I grew up in Burlington, Vermont, and I'm passionate about working with children. I have five years of professional childcare experience, along with an additional nine years caring for children within my own family. I began my career as an infant and toddler teacher before transitioning to in-home nannying, where I've cared for children from infancy through age five. I love supporting developmental milestones through Montessori-inspired, child-led play that encourages curiosity, confidence, and independence. I'm artistic, outdoorsy, and value both individuality and community. In addition to providing attentive, nurturing care, I'm happy to assist with cooking, travel, and household tasks. I bring strong references, patience, reliability, and a genuine passion for helping children thrive.
