Kameka worked with us for over 10 months dealing with a very difficult and challenging medical situation - a neurological terminal disease, ALS. From the moment I met Kameka, I knew she was the right individual to care for and support my significant other and provide me with the peace of mind I needed to help with so important medical and personal care responsibilities we had. We all bonded and trust was established quickly, and we developed a candid and open communication so critical to the care we needed. Kameka was always willing to go the extra mile to ensure my significant other and our family pet were taken care of and with great compassion. She has a wonderful attitude toward the work and most important to earning the respect and trust necessary to keep the those being cared for safe and comfortable. As an added bonus, in the most difficult and trying times toward the end of life, she was there no matter the time of day to support me and other care givers we were working with. They truly functioned as a wonderful team that made a difficult situation a lot easier to navigate. In the end, we operated like a family, looking out for and taking care of one another. Regrettably as was expected, my significant other passed and Kameka made sure we supported her with dignity, compassion, and grace to make the passing as easy and pain free as was their wish. Can't say enough good things about Kameka. We were fortunately to have her with us for all this time.
