About Kara

Hi! My name is Kara. I'm a college educated nanny with plenty of experience looking for a full-time live-out position in New York City. Though I recently relocated to the city, I've had plenty of experience navigating Manhattan and I'm fairly familiar with the pulse of this place! (: I've been a live-in nanny for the last four years with a wonderful family and before that, I was a camp counselor for six years. I've known since I was 10 years old that I wanted to work with kids in some capacity when I grew up and here I am, living that dream. I love working with kids. They are honest and curious and excited about life, always willing to learn new things. They bring that energy to everything they do and it makes every day unique and fun, even when sticking to a schedule. As a nanny, I strive to create a safe, loving environment for children to learn and grow and explore. I want you, the parents, to always feel secure in the knowledge that your children are in good hands with me!
