About Kara

I am a positive and energetic mother of two sons. I graduated from Augsburg College with a bachelor of arts in Sociology. Many of my classes were in child development and elementary education. After college, I worked in several childcare centers where I took supplemental classes to enrich my knowledge of how children learn and develop. Currently, I am a lead infant teacher at Yellow Brick Road Early Childhood Development Center in Minnetonka. My passion has always been working with children. I enjoy their creativity and zest for life. I love seeing their smiles when they discover something new or learn a fascinating fact. My director would tell you I am the most animated and creative story teller. With my unique experience and skills, I am able to provide a safe and creative environment for your little ones.
