About Kara

I'm a Purdue University graduate with a Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry, with 5 semesters of Chemical Engineering coursework completed. I'm also the daughter of a math teacher of 15 years, and tutored math myself from 9th grade throughout college. I love math! I'd describe my personality as: Outgoing, Kind, and Gentle I like tutoring because: math can be a long time struggle for students and a limiting factor in their pursuits of education. I love to share my passion of math, and I hope to help students overcome the hurdle of math! I'm looking for a job that: is supported by the students' guardian. Adult support during academic struggles is a game changer. In my spare time, I like to: spend time in the sunshine, do puzzles, and play games with my friends. One thing you should know about me is: I'm incredibly understanding of how life circumstances can impact a students performance in school, and I'd love to do my part to help with the learning.
