About Kara

Hi! My name is Kara, and caring for children has always been more than a job--it's my passion! I grew up in a small town in Iowa, where I learned the importance of family, kindness, and community. I've been a nanny for two wonderful families, worked in a daycare center, and operated my own in-home daycare, giving me experience with children of all ages. For the past two years, I've worked as a Behavioral Health Counselor, helping children build confidence, healthy coping skills, and emotional resilience. This has strengthened my patience, communication, and understanding of each child's unique needs. I love encouraging creativity, outdoor play, reading, crafts, and healthy hobbies away from screens. My goal is to provide a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel supported, valued, and excited to learn. I look forward to meeting your family!
