About Karen

Hello, I am a reliable and compassionate person, and I am always aware of safety. I find working with adults/seniors to be rewarding and enjoyable. For more than 15 years, I was employed as an Occupational Therapist. I did not like paperwork and attending meetings, so I changed my career path to working directly with people. I have worked with adults of all ages and with various needs. Some have needed companionship ( conversation, card games, puzzles etc.) and others have also required assistance with various daily activities, and/or transportation. I have extensive experience helping individuals with dementia/alzheimers. I have also helped seniors who are forgetful and/or frail. I can develop positive relationships with males and females.
