About Karen

Hello For the past six years I have worked in a UPK classroom as an assistant teacher. I have found my true passion ; this is a second career since leaving the garment center in 2011. For 20 plus years I worked on product development and design . I have been an avid volunteer for children. I was a Girl Scout Leader for five years, a Learning Leader volunteer in a kindergarten class , a volunteer at the children's garden at the queens botanical garden and have raised two wonderful children who are 18 and 22. I find learning through play is the best way to get a child excited. I have an endless amount of patience and energy. Please do not discount my age -I promise I will build forts , castles , paint , perform science experiments, go on walks and show your child love. Thank you for your time
