About Karen

Hi, my name is Karen, I'm 31 years old and a mom of two, an 8-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl. Being a mom has really shaped who I am when it comes to caring for kids. I understand how important it is to be patient, attentive, and create a safe, loving environment. I've been working with children since I was about 20 years old, so over the years I've gained a lot of hands on experience with kids of different ages, including newborns. I'm not just there to watch them, I like to be involved. Whether it's helping them learn how to read and write, doing fun activities, or just getting creative, I always try to make things engaging and enjoyable for them. I love taking kids outside to the park or even the beach when possible, and I'm big on imagination and play. Make believe is definitely my thing. I don't mind being silly, running around, and really getting into their world. I feel like that's how you build a real connection with them.
