About Karen

I was on Care. com looking for care for my elderly father back in 2021 and found some wonderful people to help keep him company while I was teaching all day. He passed in 2022 at the age of 95 and I am now offering my own evening/weekend companion care. I am friendly and fun and I communicate well and care greatly. I would treat you or your loved one as I wanted my father treated. I believe those of us offering care need to give the utmost attention. Things like staying off one's phone are crucial. I am a great conversationalist and know how to get people out of their shell. I can bring games and art projects that help to keep the mind sharp and engaged. Physical movement and stretching exercises are areas that I can assist with. I am patient, encouraging and understanding. I am a FL state certified teacher with qualifications in Art, Physical Education, and Varying Exceptionalities. I would love to help you improve the quality of life for your loved one or yourself!
