About Karis

Hi! My name is Karis, and I'm currently a senior social work student getting my bachelors in May! I've been working at a preschool for the past five years and I also used to be a dance teacher. These two jobs have given me experience with managing groups of children, creating fun and structured activities, and building positive, trusting relationships. I am CPR, first aid, and EEC teacher certified. I have reliable transportation and a clean driving record. I'm comfortable with helping with daily routines and activities. I enjoy working with children ages 2-10 because that's where I have the most experience. I love being active, being outside, and doing creative activities. I'm currently looking for a part time position, around 20 hours a week, as I will be attending grad school simultaneously. I would be able to start the second week of June. I'm reliable, responsible, and committed to create a creative and active environment for children and families. I would love to connect!
