I have a bachelor's degree in biology and am currently a student of Ayurveda. I am passionate about whole foods, holistic health, spending time outdoors, practicing yoga and meditation. I love children; especially for their innocence, fun-loving and candid nature. I have been caring for children for the last 10 years; I have experience caring for children of all ages. When the weather is nice I love taking kids outside whether it be to the park, for backyard play or a picnic! I love arts and crafts; so cloudy days can be filled with productive, fun activities!

We had the pleasure of Karissa watching our two daughters for the past 2 1/2 years. She began when our oldest was 18 months old (now 4 1/2). Karissa also watched our second daughter from the time she was born until she was 18 months old. Karissa is a wonderful person in general and is an exceptional nanny. She provided a calm and loving experience for them and they always looked forward to their 'Karissa Days'. I went back to work when our youngest was 4 weeks old, and Karissa was responsible for her care along with our older daughter who was 2 1/2 years old at the time. Knowing that Karissa was there put my mind at ease when transitioning back to work. We could not have asked for a better experience and we highly recommend Karissa!
