About Kate

I have 3 years of experience working with kids 3-17 at camps and after school programs as both an instructor and counselor. My priority is to establish a safe and positive relationship as a trusted adult. I'm detail oriented and organized, enjoying cleaning and housework. I hope I can support and help in whatever your family needs:) I'd describe my personality as calm, organized, and empathetic I like working with kids because supporting them so they can grow and have fun is fulfilling I'm looking for a job that I'm passionate about. Working with and supporting kids is meaningful to me. I started working with kids in 2024 at Woodward. It was really meaningful getting to be a counselor and striving to be like the ones I looked up to as a kid. In my spare time, I have a hard time not keeping myself busy with chores and cleaning but when I force myself to relax I really enjoy reading, making art, and skateboarding My skills include patience, communication and support.
