About Kate

Hi! My name is Kate. I graduated from Durham Technical Community College with an Occupational Therapy Assistant degree in 2021. I am certified by the National Board of Occupational Therapy and am licensed by the North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy. I have worked with multiple families over the past 16 years, providing one-on-one care to infants, children, and adolescents in their homes. My last job before obtaining my Occupational Therapy Assistant degree was working for 10years as a nanny for two children and I loved it! I also have example experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I understand the importance of working together with children and their families to provide the best care possible and believe that effective communication is key to implementing success.
