About Kate

Let me share a bit about myself with you! My name is Kate and I am a young professional, living and working in Portland, Maine. I graduated from Plymouth State University in 2014 with a degree in Childhood Studies- Elementary Education. Since graduating I have worked at non-profits that provide various services to individuals with intellectual disabilities. I am currently working in the school setting with children who have specialized behavioral needs. My passion in life is learning with and caring for children. I began babysitting at the age of 13 and have continued, as an extra source of income, as I entered my professional life. With so many years of experience, I have been able to care for all age groups from infants through preteens. Personally, I enjoy the outdoors and the arts and can often be found playing in the woods with my dog. I am a dependable and very hard working person. I have a strong belief that keeping a positive attitude is paramount to success in all endeavor
