About Katelyn

My name is Katelyn and I will be moving to Northern California next month. I am 25 years old, and I have 7 years of experience working with children from 2 months - 26 years. I am extremely passionate about working with children and I value creating a safe and nurturing space for growth and development. The first Daycare I worked in is a Special Needs daycare called The Cisco Center in Severna Park, MD. I worked with children from ages 2-18 with all different disabilities. Since then I have nannied for children ages 2 months - 12 years old. My most recent job was working as a 1 on 1 caregiver for a girl with Down Syndrome. I was with her for 5 years. I am CPR/ First-aid certified. I am very clean and organized. I thoroughly enjoy cleaning and I am very detail-oriented! I am extremely passionate about caring for children/people in general, those with special needs, and infants. I am very empathetic and compassionate and care deeply about improving the quality of life for kids.
