About Katherine

When I was living downtown Chicago, I went to a woman's home who was injured in an accident while on vacation. I visited her during the week and helped her around the house with laundry, light cleaning, etc. We got along very well and became good friends. A lot of the time we spent together was sharing stories about our lives. I enjoyed raising her spirits whenever I could because I knew she spent a lot of time alone. I have a genuine desire to help others and would love the opportunity to be of help for someone who not only needs assistance with everyday tasks but who I could get to know as a friend. I love hearing the excitement in people's voices when they tell stories about their life experiences. It would be an enriching experience to offer my help and extend my hand to someone who needs it.
