About Katherine

I've babysat 3 children for almost 6 years in Uptown Houston ages 1 mo-6 yrs. I started at my local church's Kids ministry volunteering with crafts and quickly promoted to teaching by popular demand! I now mentor youth group ages 13+ through high school/college life. (GO COOGS!) I babysit weekly, date nights, for travel, and over-night. I enjoy getting to know your child through play: magnatile builds, baby dolls, puzzles, writing books, painting, art, play dough, and imaginative play like running restaurants and hotels at home! I find imaginative play is best for entertaining, confidence building, and real world logistics. Driving/scootering to parks and the museum district are top favorites for out of home fun. Patience, fun, and care is where I excel! I like to focus on maintaining the home organized and sticking to routines/schedules. I make safe and fun spaces and am comfortable with any level of supervision/independence.
