About Katherine

Hi! I currently work as an assistant, but am looking for part-time work primarily on the weekends and certain weeknights. I love kids and am the designated babysitter of my family, usually put in charge of watching my little brother or cousins! I have hopes of one day being an elementary school teacher, so I jump at any chance to work with and learn from kids. My previous experiences in childcare include volunteering at a women and children's shelter in their daycare, helping out with the children's program at the church in my hometown, and teaching karate to young white and yellow belts! I think my friends and family would describe me as thoughtful, game for anything, and a great listener. I am trained in first aid, I have a valid CA driver's license (and have never been in an accident), and, as a creative myself, I have a big imagination ready play and explore worlds with kids.
