About Katherine

I am a junior at the University of Alabama, majoring in criminology and Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. I started babysitting when I was in 6th grade and found a passion for working with kids. In high school I began teaching swim lessons to kids of all ages. Last summer I was a summer camp site manager, teaching kids how to ride bikes. I managed about 10 camp counsellors and over 60 kids, ages 2-12, at a time. I am CPR/First aid/blood pathogen certified, and I have a reliable car with a clean driving record. I am comfortable assisting with transportation to school, or after school activities. I am super fun and know how to keep kids entertained. I love their imagination and their outlook on life. Life feels more colorful when I am around kids. In my spare time, I like to hike, play my viola, take pictures using my film and digital camera, dance, listen to music, cook, read, and try new things. My skills include Multi-tasking, adaptability, engagement, and problem-solving.
