Hi, my name is Katie. I am 25 years old. I had worked at an assisted living facility for 8 months in 2018, and was the primary caregiver to a family member for the last 2 years. I have experience with assisting showers, using the bathroom, standing, walking, eating, changing, Dementia/Alzheimer's... I understand that it is very difficult for people to accept needing help with basic needs that they once could do independently. I take my time, always show them respect and patience, and make sure they are taken care of completely.
