About Katherine

Hi! I'm Kathy, a homeschooling mom of two with over 10 years of childcare experience. I owned and operated an in-home childcare program in Virginia for 8+ years and have served in children's ministry at multiple churches. I currently work as one of the lead nursery teachers and also help with older children as needed. My background includes early childhood education, developmental milestones, baby-led weaning, and creating fun, hands-on learning through play, crafts, books, and outdoor activities with very limited screen time. I strive to provide a patient, understanding, neurodiversity-friendly environment where every child feels safe, loved, and supported. I'm currently welcoming 1-2 children into our home for personalized, family-style care during the week.
