About Katherine

Hi! My name is Kate , and I have always loved working with children. Growing up with seven siblings taught me patience, responsibility, and how to manage a busy household from a young age. I have about four years of experience caring for children through babysitting, swim instruction, and coaching. I am currently studying Elementary and Special Education st Elon Univeristy which has strengthened my interest in helping children learn and grow. I enjoy keeping kids engaged through crafts, games, outdoor activities, reading, and creative play while providing a safe, comfortable environment. I am CPR and First Aid certified and comfortable caring for up to four children. I am also happy to help with meals, tidying up, and other light household tasks. I understand that every family has its own routines and expectations, and I am happy to follow your household rules and communicate with you about your child's day.
