About Katherine

I have assisted caring for my grandfather who was unstable physically and had dementia. Over the past 10 years, I have cared for elderly in the community who are home bound, bed bound and in a nursing home. My past job involved basic in-home care such as meal prep, help with mobility, and companionship for an elderly woman with dementia and difficulties walking. I love laughing and spending time with older ones and learning from their experiences, life stories and wisdom. I get enjoyment out of helping others. I am regularly involved in volunteer work. I like the arts such as writing and photography. I love listening. Knowing what it's like to have infirm and elderly family members, I truly value the privilege to provide peace of mind to families. I want them to feel confident that their loved ones are being well taken care of.
