About Katherine

Hi there! My name is Kat, I'm 25 years old and I have over 6 years of experience in childcare. I have babysat for evenings and overnight, been a summer nanny and supervised children in a psychology lab on my college campus. I graduated from DU in 2022 with a BS in Psychology. I worked at the PROTECT Lab on campus in which we worked with pregnant and postpartum women and young children to explore interventions to increase resilience and protect families' mental well-being. I'm currently in a masters program for counseling at Regis with majority of my classes in the evening. In previous nannying positions my duties have included: school pick up/drop off, carpool to activities, scheduling play dates, laundry and other housework, cooking meals, planning fun activities, and facilitating chores. I love being outside, making art, cooking healthy food and spending time with pets/animals. I'm happy to share these passions with the kids I nanny whenever possible.
