Hi! I'm Kathleen, a Northeastern student and older sister to five younger siblings - caring for kids has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I've been nannying for years, including two summers full-time with a toddler (ages 1-2) and my current part-time position caring for two elementary-aged children. I also work as a summer day camp counselor and lifeguard for elementary and middle schoolers, and I'm about to start my fourth summer there. I've coached basketball and soccer for ages 2-8, been a youth mentor, and volunteered with after-school programs. I love being a nanny because I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids - and because being outside is my favorite thing! I'm patient, dependable, and adaptable. I hold current CPR, AED, First Aid, and Lifeguarding certifications through the Red Cross. Availability: Tuesdays/Thursdays, any hours. Not available July-August (camp!) but can pick back up in September.

Kathleen was our nanny for two years, caring for our son from ages 1 to 2. She was patient, reliable, and genuinely wonderful with him — he always lit up when she arrived. She kept him outside as much as possible, read to him often, and we noticed him picking up words faster when he was with her. Beyond childcare, Kathleen went above and beyond with household tasks — she took initiative to do laundry, prep food, and tidy the house without being asked. She was flexible with our busy schedules and always communicated well. We trusted her completely with our son and would highly recommend her to any family!
