About Kathleen Elaine

Hi! I'm Kay, an experienced educator and childcare provider who has spent over 10 years working with children from kindergarten through high school. I'm patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoy getting to know each child's personality, interests, and individual needs. My experience as a teacher has taught me how to create a safe, structured, and encouraging environment while still making time for plenty of fun and creativity. I enjoy reading with children, playing games, doing crafts and creative activities, and finding ways to keep kids engaged and curious. I'm also comfortable helping with homework and reading practice when needed. My goal is for children to feel safe, and comfortable being themselves while they're in my care. Outside of working with children, I enjoy baking, reading, journaling, and other creative projects.
