About Kathleen

For the past 20 years, I've been helping students unlock their potential through personalized tutoring. I hold a graduate degree and am a certified teacher. I create engaging and supportive learning environments where students feel comfortable tackling challenges. By actively listening and adapting my teaching with visual aids, hands-on activities, and open discussions, I strive to meet each student's unique needs. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples and celebrate every success. Communication is key, and I provide regular updates to parents to foster a collaborative learning experience. Seeing a student's confidence soar as they master new skills is the most rewarding part of being a tutor. I am comfortable working with students in elementary school and adults, and can help with Math, English, Test Preparation, Special Education, and Study Skills. I am also comfortable with pets.
