I have been an RN for 30 years and have cared for special needs children as well as adults. My background is in pediatric trauma and acute rehabilitation. I am also an animal lover and am happy to perform care for dogs or cats (or others) or run errands. I'm the perfect fit for someone who needs a companion and driver for a procedure since many times hospitals won't allow you to go home alone after a colonoscopy or minor surgical procedure. I can drive, wait for you and stay until you are awake and alert. I work full time as a Public Health Nurse for the State of CA; therefore I cannot work a part-time job in a licensed facility (conflict of interest). I am off Mon, Fri, Sat and Sun and would love to help out with patient, children and/or animal care.
