About Kathleen

Hi! I'm Kathleen. I truly love children and infants, always have. As a teenager: I taught sewing to kids as a volunteer 4-H Clothing Leader for 6 yrs; I was employed and volunteered as a Camp Counselor for 4 summers. After graduating University, I taught professionally the following: sewing-to kids age 5-18; substitute taught grades K-5; & English to Italian students abroad in Italy. I was also employed as Interim Director for a Boys and Girls Club after-school program. In the recent past: I created and ran a sewing school (full-time for 6 years) for children aged 5 to 18(they learned to operate the sewing machine). In Dec. 2021, I re-certified my Pediatric CPR and First Aid training. I also had the joy of being the very first babysitter (at 1-month-old to 1. 5 yrs) for a beloved infant with a heart condition-he was on oxygen and quarantined during winter (to prevent contracting RSV). I've also been volunteering as an Infant Cuddler with Maternity Homes. Specializing in infant care :)
