About Kathleen

I've always been a caregiver. I started watching children and caring for people and animals as a young child. I was the one that wanted my parents to pull over at every accident or when we saw an injured animal on the side of the road because "I had to help". As a pre-teen and teen I had regular babysitting jobs. In college I worked as a nanny. As a mom of three, including children with special needs (autism, bipolar disorder, physical health challenges), I've navigated the complexities of caregiving firsthand. I'm a Certified Registered Nurse (active license) with over 35 years years of experience caring for children and adults of all ages. I'm comfortable with any age children and will be happy to follow your household rules and preferred communication style, providing updates as needed. I'm not a gamer and don't do any social media. I love games, puzzles, reading, swimming (former lifeguard and swim instructor), hockey and crafts. I am not afraid of a challenge.
