About Kathleen

Hi! I'm Katie. I'm an ECE full time but I'm currently on leave (my own choice, I will still use the school as a reference). I have been babysitting for 20+ years. I am patient, reliable and kind. I enjoy helping children learn through play, reading, arts and crafts, and outdoor activities. I bring a calm approach to challenging moments and value consistent routines, kindness, respect and clear communication with parents. I'd describe my personality as kind, nurturing and whimsical I like working with kids because you know where you stand with them. They can't pretend if they don't like you and they're generally honest (in my experience). In my spare time, I like to paint, draw, go on nature walks, hang out with all my animals (I have a bunch), and do jigsaw puzzles One thing you should know about me is I am genuinely hardworking and reliable.
