About Kathryn

Hi! I'm Kathryn - kids call me KP. An unexpected lay-off means I have some downtime and I'd love to do some kid care. I've worked as a nanny, babysitter and camp counselor intermittently for the last 30 years. Newborns! Friends call me the "baby whisperer" and many have asked me to be their first babysitter. I have spent hours in the NICU & I can handle very young & special needs babies. Kids! Arts & crafts, baking/cooking/dishes, dance parties, field trips, nature & outside time, etc. Two favorite tricks are pipe cleaners and the Ministry of Silly Walks. Nutrition and health are serious hobbies for me - I am a great home cook and a registered yoga teacher. I'm loving, compassionate, non-judgmental and fun. I'm also super no-nonsense and really great at boundaries and expectations. I'd love to meet your family!
