About Kathryn

I have been involved with animal husbandry, both household pets and large farm animals for over 20 years. I grew up with horses and many pets in my home (dogs, rabbits, fish, snakes, etc.) I worked summer camps on a horse ranch in St. Louis MO for several years, and seasonally cared for a family's 30 acre equestrian & cattle ranch in San Antonio, TX solo for weeks at a time. I have been consistently pet sitting for as long as I can remember. Currently, I work seasonally as a ranch hand in Agua Dulce CA, single-handedly managing and caring for over 400 different animals (over 25 different species). The work there includes, but is not limited to: assisting in goat, sheep, and dog labor and delivery, goat milking, horseback riding, administering of medication, dealing with severe injury and illness, fence repair, etc.) I love animals dearly and I am deeply passionate about their well being. I will care for your creatures as if they were my own!
