About Kathryn

Hi! I'm Katie and I have 11 years experience working as a school-based Speech Language Pathologist. I am also a mother to a 22-month-old son. I've been working in preschool with children ages 3-6 since 2018. I love my job and spending time with kids! Reading, playing games, arts/crafts, gross motor activities, and playing together with toys are some of my favorite things to do while caring for kids. As a public school employee, I am trained in First Aid and CPR, have a federal background check, and regularly participate in trainings and workshops dedicated to child safety and development. I have experience working daily with children with disabilities. I do not smoke. I enjoy traveling with my husband and son, walking with our dog, hiking, painting, reading, and playing volleyball.
