About Kathryn

Really excited about setting up a summer position. I don't teach so am available all day, every day! I have been working with children in multiple capacities since I began babysitting when I was 14. I babysat children ages 1-6 throughout high school. In high school I also tutored a classroom of 7th graders for two years, which began my tutoring career which continued into college where I tutored at-risk middle-school children. For five summers, I spent 10 weeks working with kids ages 7-16 as both a cabin leader and the director of the outdoor education program. I am interested in pursuing a career in teaching and love working with children of all ages and creating a fun and safe environment for them to explore and discover the world around them.
