About Kathya

Hello! My name is Kathy, and I have four years of experience working with children in preschool and elementary school settings. I especially enjoy working with young children, ages 12 month to 6 years . I am currently continuing my education in Child Development at El Camino College. I am a caring, patient, responsible, and dependable person who truly enjoys working with children. I believe in creating a safe, loving, and positive environment where children feel happy, respected, and encouraged to learn. Spanish is my first language, and English is my second language. I enjoy sharing my language and culture with children while supporting their learning and development. I love reading, arts and crafts, educational games, and outdoor activities. I am also happy to help with homework, school pick-ups, and transportation to after-school activities. I am CPR and First Aid trained, and I would love the opportunity to provide reliable, nurturing care for your family!
