My over 20 years experience also lets me understand the importance of being reliable, flexible and punctual. I truly enjoy working with children. I particularity love working with newborns and toddlers but am open to all ages. I don't have set hours so I'm free to consider days, nights, weekends and over nights. Kathy was a nanny for our 1.5-year-old for 2+ months. She was good and we had minimal concerns with her nanny skills. However, she quit on us via text with less than a day's notice. Kathy was not happy that we followed through on our agreement w/r/t how we would address her being out sick. Rather than discuss her concerns with us and provide notice of a last day, she immediately started with a new family and placed us in a very difficult position to find childcare at the last minute.
