Hello my name is Kathy, Infants & toddlers are my specialty. I truly enjoy spending time with children and have over 40 years in childcare experience. With a nurturing & calm spirit I can take an upset child and calm them down. It all began in College while getting my degree in Education. I'm a Mother of 4 adult children, before becoming a Mother I was a Kindergarten teacher. Having a background in Early Childhood has given me the tools to adapt to many different situations because children can be unpredictable and each child is unique. Safety is also important when taking care of children, which is why I stay current with my First aid and CPR training. It is important to foster a child's development. Kathy cared for our son full time from 3mo-17mo. She was our in home nanny and continues to do ad hoc overnights or date nights as needed. Kathy became an extension of our family and knew him just as well as his dad and I do. She not only takes excellent care of him - she also took care of me as his mom and helped make sure I was doing well and was cared for. She helped us through sleep training, teething, weaning, and countless other transitions before starting daycare. I highly recommend.
