About Katie

During my four years at Goshen College I was the Teachers Assistant for Calculus 1. My responsibilities include holding hour long study sessions three times a week. Students could receive one on one attention, collaborate with other students, or listen in on other students questions. I adapted to a hybrid (virtual/in person) study session for the latter years of this position. I also tutored two students not affiliated with the institution. I would tutor in the students home everyday for on average one hour per student. During my two years with the family the younger student completed Algebra 1 and honors Geometry, and the older student completed honors Algebra 2 and Trigonometry. Tutoring sessions were completed in person or virtual if there were health concerns or parties were out of town.
